Social Media Coordinator

Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings in Pune, India)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months contract, with possibility of full-time employment)
Billing: Per hour billing (best in the industry, depending on experience)
Reports To: Marketing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies to boost Aestrax’s brand visibility, audience engagement, and website traffic. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering flexibility and the potential for a full-time role.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategic social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  2. Create compelling content (text, images, videos) aligned with Aestrax’s branding and objectives.
  3. Utilize social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to schedule and monitor posts.
  4. Engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly.
  5. Analyze social media metrics, generating actionable insights for future campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing and business goals.
  7. Stay informed about emerging social media trends and platform updates to keep strategies fresh and effective.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  1. 0-2 years of professional experience in social media marketing.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  3. Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective social media strategies.
  4. Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

  1. Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar platforms to schedule and manage social media content.
  2. Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or other graphic design and video editing software
  3. Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, or other tools to track engagement, reach, and conversions.
  4. Project Management Tools: Asana, Trello, or other platforms to organize tasks, assignments, and deadlines.
  5. Certifications in social media marketing or a related field.
